United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of everyone in our community. Here in South Central Idaho:
- We fight for the 2,000 local students who are experiencing homelessness. We fight so that they can feel safe, supported, and clean to help them graduate high school.
- We fight to support Ready for Kindergarten so that children can have access to early learning opportunities to not fall behind.
- We fight for people who struggle with mental health like the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline because our Community Assessment research data shows that mental health and suicide are serious issues in Idaho.
- We not only fight for these issues, we find every dollar we can to solve these issues.
But, we are more than just fundraisers. We are the hand-raisers. We are the stop-talking, start-doing, band-together workers who believe in breaking down the silos and working together.
United Way brings everyone together—major corporations, banks, hospitals, small businesses, faith-based organizations, civic groups, schools, governments and volunteers—because we know we can make a difference for local children and families, for our friends and neighbors, if we Live United.
